Elizabeth forgot to mention how well she did in the half! She was 3rd for women. THAT'S impressive! I decided to pass out 100 yards before the finish line. Niiiicce. I'm boycotting marathons for a good 3 months or so. Talk to me in August and maybe I'll think about it.
In all seriousness, thanks to the whole family for all your concern. I know I probably scared the bejezus out of everybody, but I just want you guys to know I feel so lucky and blessed to have a family that cares as much as you all do. When I woke up on the stretcher, the first thing I saw was Daddy, Pops, Aunt Jean, Kevin, and a tearful Charlie peeking his head through the tent. Their familiar faces were soon followed by phone calls from a hysterical woman (my wonderful mother)and the rest of the fam. I can't tell you how reassuring it was waking up to find myself surrounded by family, or how scary it would have been if I didn't have anybody there.
It just makes me realize, some people don't have anybody there. We're a lucky gang! Thanks again everybody. Love you all so much!
